Another special interest group wins at the cost of our freedom and enjoyment of this beautiful country. I taught my children how to surf fish on Hatteras Island, and we try to go 3 or 4 times a year. Being able to drive to the perfect fishing spot, or find a nice secluded spot for a picnic, we would also fly stunt kites. We have the same rights as the piping plover to be on the beach. And to top it all off, the special interest group that brought the suit are to get their legal fees paid by the defendants.
The environmental groups are entitled to “reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs” to be paid by the federal defendants.
Please help support Hatteras and our civil liberties.
